2005: Mi Ultimo Adios. The Jose Rizal Monument in Madrid, Spain. My folks and I walked (and got lost) for hours just to find this. Just to see this erected in the middle of a busy European street made me feel so proud to be Pinoy. Indeed, Jose Rizal was a world class Filipino! I am confident we will have more Rizals celebrated worldwide in the near future. *Trivia: Patrick is Rizal's descendant! Rizal will soon be my super lolo-in-law! Naks!*
