Staycation Series: Aruga at The Grove

So after 9 days of being apart because Patrick had to fly to the US for a convention, we decided to spend some quality #MarriageFirst time as soon as he got back. All you married people can relate—a week can feel like an eternity so 9 days is like an eternity and 2 days?? hahahahah! But seriously, it’s just so difficult being apart and I salute all the long distance couples out there who are making it work. You guys are amazing and I pray that the Lord sustains your relationships even more..because darn it, it’s bloody HAAAAARD! We got an invitation to stay overnight at ARUGA Serviced Apartments at The Grove and because we had such a wonderful time in Aruga Makati a few months ago, I immediately accepted the invite 🙂 My parents were kind enough to take Theo so we could enjoy some alone time—which was 50% romancing and 30% eating junk food and watching Netflix and 20% catching up ZZZZZsss.

I loved the resort-in-the city vibe of ARUGA at The Grove. We even had our own golf cart that escorted us all the way to our building. If you want the luxury of a hotel but the space and convenience of an actual apartment, then this is your happy middle. We had our own living room, dining area, a full functioning kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and even a washing machine and dryer too! I knew I should’ve brought my laundry to our staycation—Hahahaha! I could’ve washed all of Theo’s onesies and lampins—oh how romantic! Hahaha!:) But seriously though, it was quite impressive to have a fully functional home at Aruga. Here are some photos from our quick 24 hour stay 🙂 Thanks again to Rachelle and the rest of Team Aruga for making us feel so cared for over the weekend! True to your name!
