Hello Baby!

Our son THEO OLIVER FILART was born last July 5, 2015 at 11:14PM. He’s everything I’ve ever dreamed of and MORE. A true gift from the Lord!!! So sweet, patient and calm–reminds me of his father, Patrick, who is notoriously steady and chill 🙂 🙂 We hoped for a normal delivery but the Lord had different plans and so the doctors had to do an emergency CS procedure. Recovery has been a bit of a struggle but God’s been so faithful, and day by day I’m improving. I apologize for being absent on the blog but if you want some quick updates–please visit me on Instagram @pattylaurel for now. I promise to get back on track as soon as I’m better.. I miss blogging and I miss you all! Thanks again to all my wonderful friends, family and blog readers for praying for me, Patrick and Theo! 🙂Screen Shot 2015-07-13 at 8.26.36 PM Screen Shot 2015-07-13 at 8.27.02 PM Screen Shot 2015-07-13 at 8.27.22 PM

I was hoping for a normal delivery too but due to oligohydramnios, have undergone emergency CS as well. First few days was a struggle – breastfeeding , breast soreness, gising 24 hours etc. Panicked too when my baby lost weight 1week after birth… I wasnt producing much milk , kaya pala iyak ng iyak…. Mahirap talaga but then it will pass … now cant believe my baby’s almost a year old na. 🙂
