Katsu Lunching and Furniture Hunting

Here are some photos from my Hump Day Wednesday with Nicole and Alessa. Good times, Good times. Just a few months ago I was shopping for shoes, clothes, and bags—-now here I am browsing through refrigerators, sofas, microwaves, can openers and rice cookers. Oh and we checked out some cribs and strollers too (For Nicole’s little bean). Wow, we’re really growing up!!! πŸ™‚ I even brought a little notebook to scribble down prices and Ale’s and Nic’s recommended brands–I was such a good student! hahaha. Although working with a tight budget can be a bit nerve wracking, it’s a lot of fun to be poor and creative. My resourcefulness and practicality were really put to the test today! But I’m determined to impress myself–we dont have much but I promise to make our tiny home the coolest and coziest home in the wooooorld! I’m definitely enjoying this “turning into a MISIS” phase of my life!!!

Reminds me of a time when my friends and I declared to the universe that POVERTY CAN BE CHIC!

Cheers Patty! Your blog is such a joy to read. πŸ™‚
