Pizza Party with Thirty Six O

Right smack in the middle of a crazy work week, Patrick and I called a mandatory PIZZA PARTY for his young employees. His back has been aching for a few nights now (I’m guessing due to the long hours of editing) so it was time for him to take a short break—and for the rest of his hardworking team to enjoy some bonding time as well. 🙂

There are times when the team is scattered all across the region for shoots—a third of the team  in Palawan, the other two in Boracay, another group in HongKong. So after one million years and a thousand rescheduling attempts, we finally managed to gather the whole THIRTY SIX O team for some pizza!!! (Dip, we missed you buddy!) Thank you so much to Yellow Cab Pizza Co for sending us A WHOLE LOTTA goodies, the new Mrs. Hudson Pizza was an instant hit!
The new Mrs. Hudson pizza is Yellow Cab’s very first sauceless pizza, with luxurious toppings of prosciutto and herbed boursin cheese, caramelized onions, tarragon and other premium cheeses. PROSCIUTTO HEA-VUHHHN!:) It’s definitely worth trying if you’re looking for a fresh new pizza flavor. We also had the best selling chicken wings and potato wedges, nacho chips, Charlie Chan pasta, and Spaghetti with Meatballs. CARBO OVERLOAD. *Burp*
On a more personal note, we’ve been so blessed by our Thirty Six-O family! If you compare Thirty Six O to its competitors you’ll see that it’s a relatively small (and YOUNG) team of creatives and innovators, so it’s really amazing to see how these kids have managed to multi-task and over-perform delivering high quality videos and photos. Not only are they very hardworking and talented—they’re all very sensible, down to earth and kind hearted, which to me is very important especially in the service industry. The work that they do is hard and the working hours are unpredictable, but they get to travel, meet so many interesting people, and HAVE FUN!

When my husband and his childhood best friends Joey and Dip started Thirty Six-O, they didn’t have a grand master plan. In fact, to be totally honest with you, making money was not even on the top of their list. They were just fueled by passion, this burning desire to elevate the quality of video production and editing in the Philippines. They simply wanted to prove that Filipinos are capable of doing tasteful, well-edited, and high quality videos too. They started from scratch and now they have a fully booked calendar every month! And it’s all because from day one, we’ve prayed and dedicated this company to the Lord. You don’t have to be a pastor, priest, or missionary to do God’s work—you can still honor HIM in whatever field you choose. If you choose to be excellent in your work (never slacking, never idle), giving it your BEST day in and day out, treating your coworkers with respect and love—then you are allowing yourself to become a vessel of God’s goodness in the REAL WORLD. Again, I’m so blessed with this team. Go Thirty Six-O!

  1. Nice! I didn’t know Joey was part-owner of a photo/video editing company, negosyante talaga! 🙂 He’s a churchmate of mine in Bacolod and I’m friends with her sister. I think you also know her? 🙂

    God bless Thirty Six-O! 🙂
