Staycation Series: Marco Polo Ortigas

Before I head out to work, I’d like to share some snippets from our quick staycation at Marco Polo Ortigas with the Montemayors. We checked in a few rainy weekends ago and it was the ideal “stay-in” treat for us. And because we were stuffed silly within the hotel, there really was no need to leave. We happily filled our bellies at Lung Hin which serves authentic Cantonese (their salted egg squid and pork buns are winners!), Cafe Pronto for more casual dining options (I loved their churros!!!), and of course the glutton happy Cucina which serves buffet style Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

The hotel was jam-packed when we were there, clearly it has become a family-favorite because of it’s well appointed rooms and a location right at the heart of Ortigas. It’s a great base point for those who want to watch a movie or shop at the neighboring malls–SM Megamall, Podium, and Shangrila are all within minutes of walking. Thanks again to the staff and team of Marco Polo for your stellar service and hospitality! And to Ms Judith for organizing a wonderful itinerary for us 🙂

  1. Hi Patty.

Id like to ask if Marco Polo is baby-friendly? We are planning to bring our 4-month old with us. Thank you.
