Staycation Series: The Intercontinental Manila

So last weekend we decided to check in at the iconic Intercontinental Manila and enjoy some snuggles and cuddles indoors while it was raining cats and dogs outside. It was definitely a good idea as we were able to stay warm and cozy (and not to mention SAFE, with no power interruptions!) with Theo. And since it’s just across the street from Glorietta, we were able to enjoy some piping hot ramen too! Hehehe! What made this staycation extra special was our Club Intercontinental access, which meant free flowing drinks all day, complimentary afternoon tea from 3-5PM, and a generous breakfast the following day. When staycationing with a baby, having lounge access is definitely a happy bonus! We also stuffed ourselves silly with the buffet dinner at the famous JEEPNEY restaurant 🙂 Thanks again to the Intercon Manila team for keeping us safe and dry last weekend 🙂

  1. Intercon was such a big part of both my childhood (we used to go with my grandparents on Sundays) and adolescence (Euphoria! Eeeks!)…everything about it is so classic to me, from the caesar salad prepared table-side in Prince Albert to the french fries in the Jeepney Bar 🙂 I heard that it might close already…I hope that’s not true 🙁 So many memories!
