Travel Tuesday: Vacation Rentals in Hong Kong

It’s a Tuesday again folks and it’s time for some easy travel tips. I’ve been getting lots of emails requesting for hotel recommendations in Heng Keng so I’m dedicating this post to HK! Although there’s a myriad of hotels in this famous tourist destination, short term vacation rental is soon becoming a more popular (and sometimes cheaper) option for tourists. Back in 2011, we traveled to HK with our friends and discovered this small but comfortable 2-bedroom flat in Sheung Wan and made it our home for the 4 days. Although the flat featured in the video is not a Roomorama property, I just wanted to give you a feel of how it is to bunk in a short stay apartment. Roomorama has a host of options for you to choose from in their site. Most properties come with kitchenettes which is a great way to cut costs–you can just drop by a local grocery and cook your own meals kapag tipid hits na kayo ng pamilya/barkada. Best of all, staying in a flat allows you to feel at home even if you’re in a foreign country–giving you the privacy and homey comfort you can’t get in a regular hotel. Below you’ll find some Roomorama properties in Hong Kong which suits different budgets and needs.
