Viaje: Rags 2 Riches

I’ve always believed in the team behind R2R, this proudly Pinoy for-profit social enterprise has been changing hundreds of lives and making huge waves in the global fashion industry simultaneously..which is definitely a win-win for all involved. “In a world where fast and cheap labor is sought, R2R places the highest value on every person’s humanity and dignity. As a social enterprise, we go beyond charity and beyond aid: we create meaningful, high value, and sustainable trade.”

The Viaje Collection of Rags 2 Riches is finally OUT and what makes it even more exciting for me personally is this—–one of the bags is named after me!!! Wowwwww! What an incredible honor 🙂 🙂 The “Patricia” Crossbody is the perfect travel bag, super versatile and easy to pack 🙂 I really hope you’ll support this Viaje Collection (and the Patricia Bag too! It’s so cute!!!).

“Snap snap snap snap. Four magic snaps and three flaps give this bag quite the mileage. The Patricia three-way sling and clutch transforms with your mood: it’s like having a different bag every day. (Just think of what this means for your travel #ootd photos.)

This bag uses handwoven, artisanal panels created by artisans from three different Filipino communities: the solid color basket-weave is made by R2R urban artisans, the vibrant striped textile is handloomed by the Mangyan of Mindoro, and the geometric textile is handloomed by the DAWN artisans of Metro Manila. The leather embroidery is hand-stitched by our R2R artisans, and assembled with genuine leather accents in the R2R workshop in San Juan City, Philippines.”

Here are some photos from the recent campaign. Special thanks to our beautiful shoot location, La Creperie Salcedo, my hair&makeup by Jane of Piandre Salon BGC, and of course to Shutter Panda for these awesome photos! Photo-193Photo-197 Photo-246Photo-230Photo-219Photo-240 Photo-227 Photo-250 Photo-245R2R-19 Photo-156 Photo-177
