Last New Year’s Eve, our Mati-based Sibala clan decided to celebrate in the city this time and SEDA Abreeza was our family base for the weekend. We had such a nice time over the holidays in this hotel, we decided to book the exact same property for the weekend of my cousin Mia’s wedding. So yep, I love staying in Seda Abreeza so much–we’ve stayed here twice already in 2017! And it’s only February! Hahaha! 🙂
Located in the Abreeza Ayala Business Park (on Laurel Avenue pa! Oh yeah!), this hotel definitely wins in terms of location. It’s literally across the street from Abreeza mall, making it extra convenient for families especially those with young children. The buffet breakfast came with the room and was very generous but for all our lunches and dinners, we simply made our way to the mall and tried the different restaurants in Abreeza. My parents even managed to squeeze in a movie date since the cinema was so accessible.
Rooms are very spacious, well-appointed, and clean. Very clean!!! And considering the quality of service and type of accommodations, their rooms are fairly priced. I actually made a comparison with the older hotels in the city and Seda costs just as much and you clearly get the whole high end experience without having to burn your wallet.
The security was excellent too, if I may add. As a mom, I’m always so particular about the safety of my family so I was definitely put at ease knowing that this hotel felt very safe and secure. In true Dabawenyo fashion, everyone was very warm and attentive especially to Theo throughout our stay—from the team at the front desk, the housekeeping staff, and even the restaurant servers and managers were all very pleasant to engage with over the weekend.
So if you’re planning a trip to Davao with your fambam, I would highly recommend a stay at SEDA Abreeza. Here are some photos from our recent trip! Thanks again to the amazing team of SEDA for all the love!!!
