A few weeks back I got an email from Veronica of Dole Philippines about their brand new innovation called YONANAS. Yo What?!?! I was so intrigued by it, I decided to google it and I found this video. I was amazed! Bananas laaaaaanggg??? No milk? No sugar? No cream? Before I spoil it for you, just watch the video below!
Amazing right?!?! I’m such a big FRUIT lover, this was really a dream product for me! Imagine having your own frozen dessert made out of 100% fruits! No artificial flavors, no sugar, no preservatives. Just honest to goodness frozen fruit packed with all the nutrients you need! If you’re trying to control your sugar or if you’re lactose intolerant, this could be your Hallelujah product! Of course if you want to make it a bit sinful, you’re more than welcome to add chocolate syrup, peanut butter, or even oreos! As long as you have fruit (more commonly a banana) as your base, then the possibilities are endless.
I decided to drag my two girlfriends with me to test the Yonanas machine in the flesh. We’ve been planning a date for weeks so it was a good excuse to meet up and try something new together. If you’ve been following Kelly’s blog (uy,www.kellymisa.com na yan!), you’ll see that she’s been slowly adjusting to the newlywed life just like me. We both are amateur cooks and wannabe Martha Stewarts (operative word is WANNABE), so I knew this product would be perfect for her new kitchen adventures with Carlos. Nicole, on the other hand, has a little chub-chub named Alonzo (the roundest little man you’ll ever meet!!! SOOO CUTE!) who just turned 6 months old. From being fully breastfed, Alonzo will now be introduced to the wonderful world of solids. Woohoooo!! Happy Baby Dance! So Yonanas will actually be a great kitchen aid for Nicole who will be mixing up some healthy concoctions for her son soon. We also hung out with health advocate and my glamomama friend, Amanda, who brought her newborn son Kalon!:)

Our Yonanas machine came with a special dessert recipe book. My plan is to do at least one new recipe each week! My in laws will be celebrating their anniversary soon, so I think I’ll bring my Yonanas machine to their party! Maybe I could make it a Bring Your Own Banana Party!!! That would be so much fun 🙂 🙂 Check out the Yonanas desserts below!
Best of all, the Yonanas machine is very reasonable priced at 2950 per unit. You can purchase it in leading supermarkets: Landmark, Unimart, Ansons, Shopwise, and Robinsons Supermarket. Nicole’s husband even mentioned that it would make a perfect gift for newlyweds or even for Christmas! Pero matagal pa ang pasko so just buy one for your family NOW. Baka matunaw na ang Yonanas mo by December! 🙂 Hahaha 🙂 Just wanted to say thank you to the wonderful DOLE FRESH PHILIPPINES family for our cool Yonanas machines!
You could take home a Yonanas machine!
